I'll admit that I hate it when people drive around with their fog lights on for no reason, but it isn't nearly as bad as the idiots who drive in the fog with all of their lights off.

My fog lamps are set to come on automatically when my headlights switch on. And that ain't changing, ever.

As long as the lights aren't blindingly bright or misaligned, a little extra frontal lighting is a good way to make your car more visible to other drivers. It's why I always drive with my headlights on.

The biggest offender is the folks in the Euro cruisers who leave the rear fogs on all the time. It's annoying and makes it look like your taillights are broken to those who don't know what rear fog lights are.

Sounds like we're all guilty. I have an 08 Civic Si sedan, and even among the six or so local friends with the same car, I've been the only one to get the foglights. I really can't say the last time I saw another in person with the fogs...and mine are yellow for the JDM tyteness. Everyone enthusiast is allowed one ricer mod, right?

If I'm driving in the dark, then why would I not use all of the lights that are not high beams? I love my fog lights on my 2013 mustang.

Can't stand people driving with fog lights on without any fog around. It's extremely annoying when there's any water on the ground and it just reflects back up. Fog lights are for fog, anything else is borderline d baggery

Although bixenon lamps tend to cure this.

I will say my fogs have helped me avoid small road hazards i would not have seen with just my standard lights.

You could be technically correct as FMVSS 108 (Vehicle lighting) has a maximum 54 inches from ground to middle of light source for dipped and main beams.

I'm with you on this one. I love fog lights. I love rally lights. Turn them OFF and STOP BLINDING ME when it's not foggy or rallyfuntime.

I totally agree. Most fog lights are nowhere near as impairing as high-beams can be.
